Tricopigmentation Switzerland Tricopigmentation Switzerland tricopigmentation switzerland tricopigmentation switzerland tricopigmentation switzerlandIs this treatment painful?

Overall, Scalp Micropigmentation is not painful. There may be sensitive areas towards the front line, the crown or in donor/recipient hair implant areas. On the top of your head where the skin layer is thicker, you will only feel a slight tingling. On a scale of 1 to 10, our patients have established an average of 4. However, the pain gradually increases after a prolonged period of treatment.

Are there any side effects?

With the exception of some redness that will fade away after 2-3 days, you will not suffer from any side effects. The treatment is not invasive and you can drive immediately after it.

Am I allergic to pigments?

Our pigments are derived from natural minerals that your skin can absorb easily. However, if you are often prone to allergies, you can take a test at a price of 50 CHF. We will also give you a questionnaire to complete before the operation.

How do I present myself on the day of treatment?

It is important that you get rid of dead skin on your scalp with an exfoliating glove and that you stop using Minoxidil one week before the first session. You should also avoid the sun a week before your first session. No alcoholic beverages, caffeine or other treatment (aspirin, paracetamol or vitamins) 48 hours before the treatment. Also avoid washing your scalp with products (soap, shampoo, etc. …) 48 hours before treatment. Wash with water only. It is also important that you be well-rested and fed.

How long does this treatment last?

With proper care, Scalp Micropigmentation can last many years. If you are a healthy adult, we believe that a Scalp Micropigmentation can last 5 years before needing touch-ups. However, one must consider several factors to get an objective answer:

  • Sweating (sauna, sports, tropical countries)
  • Skin type (mixed, oily or dry)
  • Exposure to sunlight (UV rays destroy pigments)
  • Immune system (also age and lifestyle, alcohol, etc. …)
  • Application of products on the skin (chlorinated water, salt, etc…).

All these factors can affect the length of your Scalp Micropigmentation.

Is the treatment suitable for all skin types?

Inkhair has a wide range of pigments that perfectly match all skin types. We can ensure that a uniform appearance will be achieved and that nobody will notice your hair tattoo.

What kind of pigments do you use and what do they contain?

Our pigments have been specially designed for scalps and are recognised as the best. They contain natural minerals and natural additives (distilled water, alcohol) very well accepted by the skin.

Can one remove Scalp Micropigmentation?

The pigments are different and are not deposited as deeply as during a normal tattoo. They can be completely eradicated thanks to the Q-switch laser without any scarring or damage to any remaining hair. The Q-switch laser emits light pulses with a duration of a few nanoseconds. The wavelength is matched to the colour pigments, lower than for permanent hair removal, and helps degrade these pigments. The residue will be eliminated over time through the lymphatic system.

Will my relatives notice that I have had treatment?

We are going to apply successive and subtle layers of pigments of different colours. There is a good chance that no one will notice your Scalp Micropigmentation. They will just think you have more hair.

Does Scalp Micropigmentation cause hair loss?

No. Instead it seems that this practice stimulates cell regeneration, causing low hair growth.

Can I get hair implants after/before Scalp Micropigmentation?

The tattoo does not interfere in any way with the possibility of having hair surgery before or after the treatment.
